What Issues?
Some deeply ingrained issues are best resolved with support.
Therapy helps when the trouble at hand is difficult to manage alone.
Often people come when there are reoccurring issues or sometimes emotional blocks. For example, perhaps anxiety and negative thinking are having a detrimental effect on your social, intimate, or work life. Or sometimes compulsive behaviours or addictions threaten to destroy life. Perhaps someone is disheartened by a returning depression or needs help with unhelpful relationship patterns.
Other times managing a work/life balance seems totally impossible because of a feeling of being consumed by work or other challenges, such as parenting. There are also moments of unexpected crisis, such as because of a betrayal or the end of a relationship or death of a loved one. Occasionally people encounter a period when the path to future fulfilment or meaning seems totally unclear.
Here is a list of the issues I have extensive experience working with in my practice.
